Howard is the son of a master Butcher and after leaving school in 1978, he joined Greenall Whitley Brewery. In 1982 he was made a partner in a Public House and became one of the youngest licensee’s in the North West. Howard worked in the licensing trade for 22 years, running five Public Houses with his management team.
He is married to Lesley and has two daughters.
Howard is a governor at Malpas Alport Primary School. He was elected to Cheshire West and Chester council in May 2011 and as Farndon ward councillor is well aware of the needs of rural communities.
