Chris Green selected for Bunbury ward

A meeting was held on 30th January for local members to select their candidate for the Bunbury ward. Chris Green was successfully elected from a choice of three candidates.

Chris is currently the Eddisbury Conservative Association Deputy Chairman Political and he has also held positions in the Bunbury branch. He was responsible for the 2017 General Election and worked closely with our Member of Parliament, Antoinette Sandbach.

Chris has lived in Bunbury with his wife, Sandra and his two children, Zoe and Jack since 2004. Both children attended Bunbury school. He is a parish councillor and has previously been a magistrate, school governor, scout leader and is a member of St Boniface PCC.

The things Chris cares about locally are pot holes, affordable housing for local people, litter bins being emptied regularly, retaining rural bus services, faster and better broadband and mobile phone connections, developing the infrastructure to support small businesses and job creation. He is also keen to encourage and support communities in finding their own solutions to problems.

The by-election will be held on Thursday, 22nd March 2018. Polling hours are 7am to 10pm. If you would like to help Chris' campaign contact ECA office for more information.
