The Government will help keep the cost of living down for around 4.5 million more young people by introducing a new discount railcard for 26-30 year-olds.

HS2 4 kilometre-long depot could be sited in Wimboldsley under new proposals

Under the latest proposals to the HS2 route, a 4 kilometre-long depot could be built just south of Winsford and Middlewich. The rolling stock depot (RSD), which would be used for maintenance, servicing and storage was previously set to be built in Golborne, between Warrington and Wigan.
