Many congratulations to Chris Green on a strong result to hold the Bunbury Ward of Cheshire East Council in the by-election held last Thursday. We wish him well in his new role. The results were as follows:

Con: 53.3%
Lib Dem: 27.5%
Lab: 14.3%
Green: 4.8%

Chris Green selected for Bunbury ward

A meeting was held on 30th January for local members to select their candidate for the Bunbury ward. Chris Green was successfully elected from a choice of three candidates.

New Rail Card for 26 - 30 Year Olds

The Government will help keep the cost of living down for around 4.5 million more young people by introducing a new discount railcard for 26-30 year-olds.

Help us Save Free Parking!

Labour-run Cheshire West and Chester Council is planning to deliver a hammer blow to the borough. They have decided to remove free parking in Frodsham, Helsby, Northwich and Tarporley and scrap the "Free After 3" scheme in Chester and Ellesmere Port.

Victory in Eddisbury!

Antoinette Sandbach was successfully re-elected as Conservative Member of Parliament for Eddisbury in the General Election on 8th June 2017. The count was held at the Winsford Lifestyle Centre and was organised by Cheshire West and Chester council.
