Opening the Malpas Jubilee Club

Opening of the Jubilee Club in Malpas which is a community based initiative to take over the Age Concern Day Centre. The new club is funded by CW&C as part of a wider company which includes four other former age concern day centres in Tattenhall, Kelsall, Tarporley and Frodsham.
Each centre has its own local management committee of volunteers which seek to make the new clubs a sustainable community service, providing more vulnerable members of our community with a safe enjoyable place to meet friends and take part in a range of activities.
Ann Wriught is member of the Malpas Local Management Committee and has provided some of the budget to help pay for room hire for the committee's meetings.
