Conservative Councillor visits Wyvern House

Thursday, 24 November, 2011

Staff at the Council’s Customer Contact Centre welcomed a special temporary staff member this week.

Conservative Councillor Lynda Jones visited the Wyvern House facility to learn more about the important service that the team offers members of the public every day.

The Member for Winsford Over and Verdin (including Whitegate) spent time with staff and listened to some of the many calls the Council receives from residents on issues such as Council Tax and waste collection.

Councillor Jones said: “Our Customer Contact Centre staff are a helpful and dedicated team and spending time alongside them allowed me to appreciate the outstanding work they do for our residents each day.

“It also gave me a unique opportunity to listen to customer issues and hear residents’ comments, complaints and compliments on the services we provide.

“Overall I found it an extremely worthwhile experience and I would like to thank the team for extending me such a warm welcome.”
